The Duchess of Cambridge's action-packed trip to the North East proves her schedule is fast becoming that of a full-time, working member of the royal family.
Royal aides are reportedly increasing the amount of solo appearances the 30-year-old Duchess will carry out; especially as William continues his RAF Search and Rescue duty at least until 2013.
Kate, who recently returned from the sucessful Jubilee Tour of South East Asia, is also believed to be personally researching and visiting charities to decide where her future patronage would most make a difference.
William and Kate's trip to the North East will begin at St George's Park in Burton-on-Trent, as they then carry out an impressive six engagements in just half as many days.
The busy pair will then move on to Newcastle and Gateshead, where they are visiting several of their chosen charities.
