In her new autobiography Cheryl Cole has revealed that the Duchess of Cambridge dressed up as Cheryl for her hen party.
When they met after the Diamond Jubilee concert this summer, Kate's husband Prince William asked the singer, "did you know you've got a bit of competition?".
Cheryl further recounts that, when she questioned who her competition was, "William looked at Kate and they both started laughing before Kate confessed that she dressed up as me on her hen night, in a body suit and split trousers and sang Fight For This Love."
The song's video, released in 2009, featured the 29-year-old in a military-style outfit, with a gold-buttoned red jacket and cap. Kate, not one to do things by halves, had also learnt the whole dance routine and apparently performed it step perfect.
The Duchess' siblings, Pippa and James, also took a moment to tell Cheryl of their sister's stellar performance. Cheryl responded "I'm very flattered!" and later added "I could just imagine her and it was so surreal."
The book: Cheryl: My Story goes on to describe the Geordie singer's experience of the Jubilee concert and its incredible afterparty at Buckingham Palace, where she also met William's brother Prince Harry.
