William and Kate share a mutual love of sport and it came as no surprise to see the Duchess getting stuck in to a game of volleyball on Friday when she made her first official solo appearance since giving birth to Prince George.
Prince William's wife cultivated a love of hockey during her years at Marlborough College, and before that, at St Andrew's School in Pangbourne where she also played tennis, swimming, netball and rounders.

The royal couple have also been frequent visitors to Wimbledon, supporting their friend, British star Andy Murray. The tennis ace revealed this week that Kate wrote him a congratulatory letter after he won the All England Club championship this year.
