Australian media outlets have revealed that preparations are being made for the city to host the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their baby son when the trio make their first overseas visit to Australia and New Zealand.
"An advance party of royal aides will arrive in Sydney this month to finalise precise details of the expected month-long itinerary," said the Sydney Morning Herald.

"One key issue is secure accommodation where the then nine-month-old Prince George, third in line to the throne, can be cared for while the royal couple meet what is likely to be a gruelling program."
William and Kate appear to be taking a leaf out of Charles and Diana's book, as they also made a base for themselves in the state of New South Wales when they visited the country with Prince William in 1983.
Charles and Diana chose the Woomargama homestead, located near the city of Albury, as their home for the times on the tour when they were not travelling.
Locals said that Princess Diana told them that the couple were enjoying life in the house when she took the time to speak to them personally and it is also believed that the young Prince William took his first steps inside the homestead.
