The Swedish royal family stepped out in full force to show their support for Queen Silvia and the children's charity she set up 15 years ago.
As the reigning monarch arrived for an anniversary gala dinner held in one of Stockholm's finest restaurants, she was joined by her daughters Crown Princess Victoria and Princess Madeleine and their respective husbands Prince Daniel and Chris O'Neill.
The royals caused quite a stir among their fellow guests and onlookers as they donned their most glamorous attire for the World Childhood Foundation benefit.

While Silvia, 70, looked a dream in green wearing a paisley patterned full-length dress, Victoria, 37, and Madeleine, 32, matched in near-black ensembles.
First-in-line to the throne Victoria wowed in a ruffled, tulle number while her younger sibling Madeleine dazzled in a lacy, black gown that featured mesh sleeves. The princesses arrived on the arms of their dashing partners, who had put on their finest tuxedos for the event.

World Childhood Foundation, which was founded by Silvia in 1999 and is commonly referred to as Childhood, aims to protect children from sexual abuse as well as support those who have already fallen victim.

"Every child has a right to a childhood, to safety, security and happiness in life," the charity's mission states. "Everyone has the right to grow up and develop socially and intellectually."
This year, the Swedish royals have been celebrating the 15th anniversary of the charity, with special events taking place such as the dinner on Monday night and meetings with Childhood board members from their offices around the world.

The gala will have struck a particular chord with Madeleine, who is mum to six-month-old daughter Leonore, as she works in the New York branch of the charity as a projects manager. Madeleine has been living in the Big Apple with her businessman husband Chris for the past four years.
