Mia Tindall is fast becoming a regular at horse racing fixtures, with her doting mum Zara Tindall taking her to high-profile events. The sweet mother-daughter duo were most recently spotted attending the Gatcombe Horse Trials over the weekend in Stroud.

Wrapping up from the chilly weather, baby Mia stood out from the crowds in her red weatherproof suit and bright blue wellies.

The 14-month-old and her mum both matched in grey woollen hats, with Mia's sporting a pink heart design while Zara's featured a fluffy bobble.

Accomplished equestrian Zara, who won silver at the 2012 London Olympics, didn't have to travel far with her daughter on the wet and windy Saturday.

The horse trials were being held at Gatcombe Park – the country estate belonging to Zara's mum Princess Anne, where Zara and her family currently live.

Despite the poor weather, baby Mia raised a smile as she was snuggled up in her mum's arms. The pair were pictured mingling with fellow horse lovers in the sponsors' tent before Zara drove back home in a land rover.

Earlier this month the 33-year-old showed her support for the  Cheltenham Festival, the annual racing event she regularly attends.

Olympic medallist Zara got back into riding just 12 weeks after giving birth

Zara gave other spectators a lesson in style, with the royal, who is fifteenth in line to the throne, stepping out in an array of outfits over the four days. On day three of the races, Zara looked particularly elegant in a blue coat dress and matching hat, adding an extra layer with a fur stole.

She and husband Mike Tindall welcomed their first baby on 17 January 2014, and it sounds like the couple's plans to have a second child have been put on hold due to Zara's sporting commitments.

Zara Tindall, pictured at the Cheltenham Festival, said she hopes to compete in the 2016 Olympics

The Queen's granddaughter plans to compete in the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. "It means I won't be able to have any more children between now and then," Zara told the Financial Times.

Despite getting back on her horse High Kingdom 12 weeks after giving birth, Zara also admitted that getting back into shape was a lot harder than she thought.

"What surprised me about having a baby is losing all your fitness and how tough it is to get it back," she said. "I try to work out on an exercise bike first thing in the morning."
