Princess Madeleine of Sweden celebrates her 32nd birthday on Tuesday 10 June. To honour the Swedish royal's birthday, HELLO! Online has gathered a list of ten facts about the popular princess. 1. Madeleine was born on 10 June 1982 at Drottningholm Palace on the island of Lovön, Sweden. Upon birth she was third-in-line to the Swedish throne behind her older siblings Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Carl Philip. Her official title is "Her Royal Highness Princess Madeleine of Sweden, Duchess of Hälsingland and Gästrikland" and she is now fourth-in-line after the birth of her niece, two-year-old Princess Estelle.

2. As a great-great-great-great granddaughter of Queen Victoria, she is also distantly in line for the British throne. 3. Despite relocating to New York in 2010, the princess still carries out many royal duties on behalf of the Swedish royal family, often returning home to mark special occasions such as Sweden's National Day and her father, King Carl XVI Gustaf's birthday.

4. As a popular princess, Madeleine was named as one of the world's most beautiful royals in 2011 by CBS.

5. In October 2012, it was announced that Madeleine was engaged to American-banker Christopher O'Neill. Eight months later royals from around the world gathered at Stockholm's Royal Palace Chapel to see the elegant bride walk down the aisle in a stunning Valentino gown. The Earl and Countess of Wessex made the trip to Sweden to represent the British royals. 6. The princess shares her birthday with model Kate Upton, British actress Elizabeth Hurley and the Queen's husband Prince Philip. 7. Dedicated to her royal duties, Madeleine is patron of many organisations close to her heart including the Min Stora Dag, which is the Swedish Make-A-Wish Foundation that grants wishes to terminally ill children.

8. Just 12 weeks after her wedding to beau Christopher O'Neill, the couple announced they were expecting their first child. In February 2014, while in New York, Madeleine gave birth to a baby girl, Princess Leonore, Duchess of Gotland. The three-month-old was baptised on her parents' first wedding anniversary on Sunday 8 June in Sweden. 9. Similar to Zara Phillips, Madeleine is a talented equestrian and has competed in many competitions under the name of "Anna Svensson". As well as this, she is also a keen runner and skier. 10. Praised as a modern royal, the princess is an active user of Facebook which she uses to promote her charities. Her page currently has nearly 500,000 likes.
