The design of this exclusive hotel has been carried out in partnership with renowned architects Moshe Safdie and Piero Lissoni whose skill and taste have ensured that the Mamilla is destined to become one of the must-visit addresses for travellers who demand the very best in design and service.
The Hotel Mamilla has already gained a reputation as a sanctuary of elegance and privacy. Its purifying atmosphere is enhanced by the historical atmosphere that surrounds it as it is set against a backdrop of Jerusalem's old city walls, the Tower of David and the Jaffa Gate.
The 194 elegant rooms combine comfort and originality, the eternal blends with the contemporary. The walls near the beds are made of bare Jerusalem stone that harmonises perfectly with the metal headboards and dark wood floors, and creates a contrast with the modern furniture. The result is a unique environment that stimulates the senses and relaxes body and soul.
The establishment is also one of the city's gourmet high spots, under the skilled hand of chef Roi Antebi (known for his Catit restaurant in Tel Aviv). From typical Israeli breakfasts to the fine mediterranean and italian dishes served in the outdoor brasserie which enjoys superb views of the city, it's all tempting to the palate.
Guests can also relax in the Retiro spa, which has four separate areas corresponding with the four basic elements: Earth, Water, Fire, and Air, providing a unique and unforgettable experience.
