As well as views out across the sparkling blue sea, the Oscar-winning actress posted intimate snaps of her youngest son playing in the waves and an adorable mother and son picture which the star captioned: "Perfect Day".

With pristine, private beaches and clear blue waters, Reese and her one-year-old son Tennessee looked to be having great fun as they played in the shallow waters.
During their spring break trip, Reese also took a serene selfie of herself as she wandered the beach at dusk. Another shot of the Legally Blonde actress watching the boats arrive in port showed off her lovely salmon pink Pret A Surf swimsuit. "Watching the ships roll in @pretasurf" the star captioned the photo.
Reese isn't the first star to make a getaway to the more than 700 islands, cays and islets that make up the Bahamas.
Sun, sand, and fabulous sights make this an ideal relaxing break, and stars such as Johnny Depp, Michael Jordan, Shakira and Oprah Winfrey have all at some point owned property here thanks to its laid-back and calm atmosphere.
The Bahamas – one of only two countries in the English-speaking world with the word The at the beginning of its name – is one of the richest countries in the Americas.
In the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, the Bahamas became a haven for pirates - and Johnny Depp bought a rugged and private island after filming Pirates of the Carribbean there – but in the twenty-first century, the Bahamas are instead known for their strong cultural traditions, including regular regattas, which are important social events held throughout the year, and Junkanoo, which is a Bahamian street parade of local music, dance and art.
Bahamian cuisine is rich in seafood and tropical fruits, and rum-based drinks are hugely popular. All-year-round sunshine is also on the menu if you visit the islands. Beware of the summer months though, as seasonal rainfall follows the sun, making summer the wettest season.
