Tempted by the breathtaking shots that have been shared online by the bride and groom and some of their 200-odd guests, revealing a fairytale setting completed by the Fortress's grounds along with a 20ft-wall of white flowers and a marble Steinway piano, potential holidayers have sent hotel searches in Florence aflutter with a 66% increase.
According to hotel booking website Hotels.com, Florence is firmly on the romantic-getaway map since Kim and Kanye tied the knot on the evening of Saturday 24 May.
The site experienced a surge in searches to the Italian hotspot over the weekend the rapper and TV queen tied the knot, compared to teh same weekend last year.
Tuscany's capital offers plenty of romance and culture away from Kim and Kanye's chosen wedding venue – which comes with a €300,000 hire price tag. The city is also home to famous sights such as Il Duomo, the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore and the city's most famous square, Piazza della Signoria.
You'll also find the Galleria degli Uffizi here, with the world's most important collection of Renaissance art from the likes of Michelangelo, Botticelli and Leonardo da Vinci.
