Steven Gerrard, Wayne Rooney, Frank Lampard are just three of the 23-man England team that will be heading to Brazil in June for the World Cup, and their lovely better halves are likely to travel with them to stand on the sidelines when the world watches the highly-anticipated football games with baited breath.

So, where will England's footballers and their lovely ladies – HELLO! Online blogger Alex Gerrard, Coleen Rooney and Christine Bleakley – be staying when they're in the world's party capital, Rio de Janeiro?

HELLO! Online takes a look inside the 5-star skyscraper hotel situated on Rio's most popular beach that's been tipped as the chosen one.

Ideally situated across from the golden sand and crystal blue waters of Copacabana, the 37-floor luxury hotel is by far the tallest building along the beachfront, offering breathtaking ocean vistas and a clear view of the famous 26ft-high Christ Redeemer statue. With two spectacular pools, including a rooftop pool on the 39th floor, we can expect plenty of selfies from the football stars during their stay.

But when they're not poolside, the team can make the best of the hotel's facilities, which include a fully equipped fitness centre. After their workout for the day, guests can treat themselves to some relaxation and rejuvenation in the 600-metre spa.

Complete with a steam bath, Vichy shower, Jacuzzis and a range of massages available, the hotel's sophisticated spa has everything Steven Gerrard and Co could possibly want to chill out after a match. Never mind the beauty salon and Pilates studio for the ladies.

Each of the 545 bedrooms come complete with panoramic beach views, and if the team members are lucky, they may get to stay in one of the two beautiful Presidential and Imperial Suites.

Five minutes from the newest hotel in Rio is Ipanema Beach. The Windsor Atlantica is also near two shopping centres, cinemas, theatres, fashionable restaurants and lively bars – though we would forgive them for staying in this luxurious safe haven instead – it also boasts three restaurants, including one voted the "best Italian in Rio".
