Rachel Bilson is moving on following her split from Hayden Christensen. The OC star, who was revealed to have ended her ten year romance with the actor in September, has bought a new $3.25million (around £2.46million) home in Pasadena, California, according to property website Trulia.

The actress is expected to move in to the home with her daughter Briar Rose, while Hayden is reportedly living in Toronto. And it will offer plenty of space for the actress and her daughter; the property measures 3,678 square feet and features six bedrooms and four bathrooms, spread over one level.
There is also a huge resort-style backyard with rolling gardens, an outdoor swimming pool and amazing views of the canyons and mountaintops. Rachel previously shared a home in Sherman Oaks with her long-term partner Hayden, but the couple sold the property earlier this year for $3.8million (around £2.88million). Rachel's home is filled with natural light thanks to floor-to-ceiling windows throughout. This living room is the perfect blank canvas for the actress to put her own stamp on, with refurbished wood floors, built-in bookshelves and a cosy fireplace, all with views of the garden and across to the canyons beyond.

The property was built in 1950 and is known as "Ralph's House". It is said to maintain most of its original design, but the kitchen has been modernised with state-of-the-art appliances and lots of fitted cabinets and drawers in muted white and grey tones. A door at the back of the room provides direct access to the garden.

There are four bathrooms in Rachel's new home. This suite features a colourful terracotta-tiled bath and shower, plus a large vanity area with marble worktops and mirrors, where Rachel will be able to get ready for any red carpet appearances.

One of the major highlights of the Jumper star's new home is the amazing outdoor space, which includes rolling gardens, an open-air courtyard and a swimming pool. As well as offering lots of space for Briar Rose to play outdoors, Rachel will also be able to host friends and family in privacy, and with stunning views of the canyons and mountaintops.
