Amy Winehouse finds joy with horse-riding Rasta

Friday May 1, 2009

Currently back on the island of St Lucia, where she is reportedly thinking of buying a £3 million pad, Amy Winehouse seems to have discovered more than just a perfect base.
According to newspaper reports the 25-year-old Londoner has also found a confidant and "shoulder to cry on" in Fidel Missore, a horse-riding Rastafarian tour guide.
"He is a calming influence (on her)," a source on the island told the Sun, who also describes Fidel as being the singer's "rock" and says she "can't stop smiling" when she sees him.
Back in the UK the singer's estranged husband, 27-year-old Blake Fielder-Civil - who was recently released from jail - started divorce proceedings in January this year.
The singer, who returned to the Caribbean isle after spending an extended break there in January, is working on a new album and getting her life back together in the sun after a tumultuous 2008.
