Tributes pour in for 'extraordinary man' Tony Curtis

Following the passing of Hollywood legend Tony Curtis, the celebrity world has united in celebrating his life.

Sir Roger Moore led tributes on Thursday, saying his co-star in The Persuaders, "was a fine actor. I shall miss him. He was great fun to work with, a great sense of humour and wonderful ad libs."

Speaking of his performance alongside Marilyn Monroe in hit film Some Like It Hot, Sir Michael Parkinson described it as "one of the greatest comedies of all time."

Another friend, Sir Michael Caine said: "He had a very happy life. Every time I saw him he was the happiest man you could think of."

The film icon suffered a cardiac arrest and passed away in his home in Nevada at the age of 85.
