Two members of the Pussycat Dolls leave group

Ashley Roberts and Kimberly Wyatt of female pop group the Pussycat Dolls are no longer with the band, it has been confirmed.

Amidst rumours that she was leaving the quintet, Ashley posted a note on her Twitter page on Saturday, writing, "It's time to answer your question - Yes, I have left the Pussycat Dolls..I love you all."

Shortly after, she responded to fans' inquiries, adding, "Just time to move on. I will always love those girls. my sistas 4 life."

A statement on Ashley's blog explains that she plans to pursue a career as an actress and solo artist.

Her Twitter posts came just a day after bandmate Kimberly Wyatt's departure was announced.

Kimberly revealed to Loaded magazine: "I love being a Doll, but as far as the variables off-stage are concerned – I just couldn’t do it anymore."
