Whitney's trustees to halt Bobbi Kristina's payments

Tuesday October 2, 2012

Whitney Houston's trustees are in the process of halting daughter Bobbi Kristina's will payments due her cohorting with "bad influences".

The trustees of Whitney's estate, including the late star's mother Cissy, believe that will payments should be more staggered so that Bobbi does not overspend the money on friends and acquaintances.

A series of court documents filed in Fulton County Superior Court in Atlanta state that Bobbi "is a highly visible target for those who would exert undue influence over her inheritance and/or seek to benefit from respondent's resources and celebrity."

The document said that the payment will hinder Whitney's "intent to provide long-term financial security and protection for her child."

Bobbi is the sole beneficiary of Whitney's estate, after the singer died in an accidental drowning in her hotel bath last year.

The 19-year-old is currently dating 22-year-old Nick Gordon, who was also raised in the Houston household.
