Liam Gallagher rules out reunion with brother Noel

Wednesday December 2, 2009

It's been a good year for comebacks.

And while many Oasis fans were hoping their favourite group would follow in the footsteps of Spandau Ballet, Whitney Houston and Robbie Williams, it seems they will be disappointed.

Liam Gallagher says there is no chance of him reuniting with brother Noel.

"I'm sure (Noel) thinks, 'I'll do my solo career and if it doesn't pan out, then I'll give our kid a ring 'cos he'll be desperate, and he'll do anything for Oasis," Liam says.

"Well, I'll say this right now; he's got another thing coming. I'll be busy. I'll always be busy when he rings me up."

Liam hasn't ruled out joining up with the rest of the band members though.

He is reportedly teaming up with his other former bandmates, Andy Bell and Gem Archer, to form a new group.

"We've got a bit of studio time booked after Christmas and we're going to get in there, do it quick, with no stewing on it, and I'm feeling really confident about it,” he says.
