Rihanna's angry tweets following train 'mobbing'

Monday September 3, 2012

As a multi-million selling pop star, Rihanna is probably used to being swamped by fans.

But the large crowd which greeted her at the Gare du Nord train station in Paris on Monday wasn't quite what she was expecting.

She posted on Twitter: "I just had to fight my way out of a damn train station!!!" "FYI, if you push me, you will get pushed back! Papz and crazies included!!!!"

The singer had previously posted a photo of herself at London's St Pancras station, about to take a train to the French capital.

Her train departure time was also included in the post, marked on a station sign and visible to her 25 million Twitter followers.

The 24 year-old was in Paris for a special performance with the band Coldplay.

A security chief at the Gare du Nord reportedly said: "It was absolute chaos, and all Rihanna's fault.

"What Rihanna did was utterly irresponsible. There was genuine fear among the people at the station."
