YouTube sensation Zoella's first book has become the fastest-selling debut novel ever.
Zoe Sugg's, better known by online alias Zoella, debut novel Girl Online sold more than 78,000 copies in its first week.
The young adult novel follows the story of Penny, a teenager who blogs about her hidden feelings on friendship, boys and her anxieties and has been inspired by the own experience of documenting her everyday thoughts in video blogs online.
In a tweet to her 2.5 million followers, the 24-year-old said: "I'm legit blown away by this. I never in a million years thought that so many of you would pick up a copy of Girl Online. Almost want to cry."
Rights to Girl Online have already been sold in 25 languages, with a sequel due to be released in 2015.
The online blogger has more than nine million followers on YouTube where she posts beauty and fashion video as well as her thoughts and advice on issues from cyber-bullying to anxiety to self-esteem.
