DJ Calvin Harris and rockers Kasabian have been confirmed to headline this years V Festival. The acts will top a bill that includes multi-award winner Sam Smith, Ellie Goulding, George Ezra, The Script and Ollie Murs, with many more stars to be announced.
After another successful weekend last year, the festival is returning to Staffordshire to celebrate it's 20th birthday with an incredible line-up that showcases the best of british pop and rock. Kasabian frontman Sergio Pizzorno clearly couldn't contain his excitement after the annoucement, stating: "V is for victory, V is for voodoo, V is for vacuum cloud, V is for very very very very excited. See you in the fields!"
The glamorous V style camping will also return for it's fifth year, offering festival-goers pampering sessions and luxury tents. Festival director Simon Moran said, "We wanted to champion British talent at this year's festival and with the likes of Calvin and Kasabian leading the way we don’t think it’ll disappoint. The eclectic mix of established artists and rising stars, with a few more in the pipeline, means that once again there is something for everyone at V Festival."
Tickets go on sale on 6 March at 9am and the festival will be held on the 22nd and 23rd August.
