Tori Spelling: 'New pregnancy was a surprise'

Friday April 6, 2012

Tori Spelling has revealed her latest pregnancy was a surprise.

The 38-year-old reality TV star, who fell pregnant one month after welcoming daughter Hattie, admitted it was completely unplanned.

"All my friends keep asking me and I'm like, 'Seriously? Hattie was one-month-old. Do you think it was planned?'" she told Us Weekly, adding: "I was up all night with feedings."

Tori, who is also a parent to five-year-old Liam and three-year-old Stella with husband Dean McDermott, joked that her five-month-old daughter Hattie "had a lot to say" about getting a younger sibling.

"She was up in arms. She tossed that pacifier right out the door - furious!" she quipped.

Since first becoming a mother in 2007, Tori has adapted the kind of parent she is.

"I learned I'm a little too lenient and I'm good cop when I should be bad cop sometimes," she said.

"What I like best about myself as a mum is the fact that I'm still kind of a kid at heart. I didn't know that side of me would come out."
