Kelly Osbourne says 'ta-ta' to tattoos

Wednesday October 6, 2010

Kelly Osbourne's dramatic reinvention looks set to continue as she has decided to get her tattoos removed.

The star's impressive weight loss in recent months has been accompanied by a make-over from her old punk-rock chic to a more elegant, sophisticated look.

And in a nod to her new image, the 25-year-old is getting a keyboard on her forearm and a heart and cross bones on her wrist (pictured) removed using laser surgery.

She said: "I met with my dermatologist and I'll start having the laser treatment as soon as I can.

"It will take several months, and while I'm not looking forward to the pain, I've heard it hurts less than getting the tattoo. I hope so!"

Kelly has previously described getting tattoos as a way of "self-harming" and a means of rebellion against her parents.
