Conran designs dramatic Union gown for Harry's cause

Tuesday September 7, 2010

Star violinist Linzi Stoppard has joined forces with the Household Calvary to promote the Fashion for the Brave charity event.

Designer Jasper Conran, who created her spectacular Union Flag gown, is one of more than 50 designers who will take part in the fashion show and fundraising event aimed to make at least £1 million.

The gala, to be held at the Dorchester Hotel on October 26, will be a black tie affair to raise funds for three military charities: Help for Heroes - one of Prince Harry's causes, - Household Cavalry Operational Casualties Fund, and ABF The Soldiers Charity.

For the first time, the elite Household Calvary, of which Prince William and Prince Harry were members, will be participating in the event.
