Reese Witherspoon's birth let Megan Fox keep mum

Wednesday November 7, 2012

Megan Fox and her husband are grateful to Reese Witherspoon-- because the birth of her baby boy Tennessee distracted attention from the fact Megan's child arrived at the same time.

The Transformers star gave birth to Noah Shannon on the same day as the Legally Blonde actress, and the fuss over Reese's new arrival allowed her to keep her own labour details private.
Megan's actor husband Brian Austin Green spoke to American Idol host Ryan Seacrest on his radio show about the secrecy.

He said: "I've been wanting to send Reese Witherspoon flowers for, like, a month and a half now, because she actually gave birth the same day as us in Santa Monica.

"We were lucky enough to go in at 2.30 in the morning to the hospital and nobody knew."

Although snaps of Megan and her baby bump had been released, the couple never confirmed any details, and were more than happy to carry on keeping the news quiet during and after Noah's birth, allowing them to post an official Facebook confirmation about the happy news months after the event.

Brian said: "We got out of the hospital and nobody knew. We got home and thought, 'This is unbelievable.' We weren't expecting to be able to get away with it. We were expecting all the [paparazzi] guys in the hallways and the parking structure. So we just figured we would go with it as long as we could."

Noah is Megan's first child, while Brian has a ten-year-old son, Kassius, from a previous relationship.
