Bvlgari launches Save the Children campaign

Tuesday April 8, 2014

Hollywood stars John Hamm, Naomi Watts and Meg Ryan have joined the forces for Italian fashion house Bvlgari’s new Save the Children campaign.

Approaching their 130th anniversary, the brand have created a new silver and ceramic ring which aims to generate £1 million, which would save over 50,000 newborn children’s lives via Save The Children.

The over 170 celebrities that have supported this campaign so far can be seen wearing black clothing and holding a hand up to the camera, a symbol saying: “stop” to the tragedies.

Celebrities involved include Olivia Munn, Ashley Greene, Oliver Stone, Alexander Ludwig, Jeremy Renner and Lara Pulver.

In 2009, Bvlgari decided to take action on behalf of unprivileged children caught in cycles of poverty.

Knowing that so many children will be unable to attain their own aspirations due to the lack of education led the luxury brand to take a stand.

Partnering with Save the Children means the profit made from the sale of the Bvlgari designed Save the Children Jewelry is donated to the charity.
