Ann Widdecombe to go all the way, says Jimi

Monday November 8, 2010

It was bad news on Saturday night for actor Jimi Mistry as he became the fifth celebrity to be voted off Strictly Come Dancing.

Despite receiving his best score ever - a very high 32 out of 40 points - and bowling over the judges with his quickstep, the actor wasn't able to impress the audience.

His favourite to win? "I think Ann has a very good chance of going all the way," he said.

The 63-year-old politician impressed viewers with her 1920’s Charleston number, donning a flapper outfit from the era, complete with headband and fringe.

Although very popular with the audience, she doesn’t appear to be quite so in favour with the judges.

Craig Revel Horwood gave her only two points out of ten and the panel’s critiques were anything but flattering.
