Strictly Come Dancing star Victoria Pendleton has given Brendan Cole permission to get tougher with her on the dancefloor.
The Olympic gold medal winner, 32, shed tears after mixing up some of her moves and losing her timing while performing the cha-cha-cha to Kylie Minogue's Spinning Around on Friday night.
She told the Radio Times that Brendan had a reputation "for being intense and very hard on his celebrity partners".
But, praising the dancer, Victoria, who is now bottom of the leaderboard, said: "I just don't see it. I come from a professional sports background where people don't ask you to do anything nicely.
"I'm used to coaches shouting at me until I do something better, so I wouldn't actually mind Brendan being tougher on me. He's nothing in comparison to some coaches I've had."
Speaking before her tears on Friday, Victoria said that her "emotional investment in the show has been fairly limited".
But she added, after the dance, that she was relieved that she did not have to perform it again.
"I love Kylie, but I must have heard that song 100 times in the past few weeks. It's been spinning around and around in my head and driving me mad!," she said.
