HELLO! Readers vote Helen Mirren as BAFTA's Best Actress

HELLO! Online readers have voted Helen Mirren as their favourite to win this year's BAFTA award for Best Actress. 

The Birtish star, nominated for her role in biopic Hitchcock, won the poll with 34.8% of the vote beating the fellow nominees Jennifer Lawrence, Marion Cotillard, Emmanuelle Riva and Jessica Chastain.

In at second place was Jennifer, whose role in The Silver Linings Playbook earned her the BAFTA nod.

Jennifer, who received 29.9% of the vote, has already enjoyed success from her role in the film.

Earlier this month the Kentucky-born actress won a Golden Globe and a Screen Actors Guild Award for playing Tiffany Maxwell.

Hot on Jennifer's heels with 18.6% was Parisian actress Marion Cotillard for her role in French film Rust and Bone.

Jessica Chastain and Emmanuelle Riva are also nominated for the prestigious award for starring in Zero Dark Thirty and Amour respectively.

The winner will be announced during Sunday night's ceremony which is being hosted by Stephen Fry.
