'Puma' Demi Moore on inspiring older women

Tuesday November 10, 2009

Demi Moore – the forty-six-year-old G.I. Jane actress and wife of funny guy Ashton Kutcher, 31, has inspired women everywhere to have relationships with younger men.

The couple, who attended a charity event on Broadway on Monday night, have been credited with causing more single women to be willing to date younger men.

Still, the mother of three isn't quite sure how she became a role model for 'cougars', and says she'd prefer to be called a 'puma', an idea she toyed with on her Twitter page.

When asked by a follower how she felt with the term cougar she tweeted, "Don't like it-I prefer Puma!"

"I'm certainly not the first person to be in a relationship with a younger man, but somehow I was plucked out as a bit of a poster girl," she went on to say in an interview with W magazine.

"But I just kind of step back sometimes and say 'There is some reason, and what is it that I have to share in a positive way?'"
