Liam Neeson cameo cut from 'The Hangover' sequel

Monday April 11, 2011

He stepped in to take over a cameo role first given to Mel Gibson

And now Liam Neeson has also been replaced on the sequel to hit film, The Hangover.

The Irish actor filmed his brief appearance as a Bangkok tattoo artist last year, but a scheduling conflict has meant he has been cut from the comedy.

Liam, 58, was needed to reshoot some of his scenes, but was unable to do so because he is busy filming Clash of the Titans 2 in London.

Instead, the scene is now being reshot with actor/director Nick Cassavetes.

The Hangover II is set to be released in the UK and the US in May.
