Dancing On Ice winner Beth Tweddle has admitted she is looking forward to some time with her friends and family after the show's gruelling schedule.
The 27-year-old gymnast went straight from the London 2012 Olympics to training for the ITV show and can finally take some time out after winning the trophy with professional partner Dan Whiston.
Beth, who split from her boyfriend of three years during the series, said: "It is going to be very strange to go home and just spend time with my family and friends."
The Olympic medallist and partner Dan - who has now notched up a hat-trick of wins on the show - managed to get through to the final without ever having landed in the bottom two of the public votes and facing the skate-off.
Beth told This Morning: "People were saying, 'the public must love you', but you can never take anything for granted."
Beth and Dan admitted they had been partying until the early hours to celebrate their win. Asked how she felt, Beth said: I'm still overwhelmed. I had the most amazing experience. I've loved every minute.”
