Jim Carrey: 'Elin should have noticed Tiger's affairs'

Monday April 12, 2010

Hollywood funnyman Jim Carrey has defended Tiger Woods following the sportsman's highly-publicised sex scandal.

"No wife is blind enough to miss that much infidelity," Jim wrote on his Twitter page. The golf ace is fighting to save his marriage to wife Elin after alleged affairs with over ten women came to light.

"Elin had 2 b a willing participant on the ride 4 whatever reason. kids/lifestyle. Tiger Woods owes nothing 2 anyone but himself," Jim continued.

The actor, who split from Jenny McCarthy last week, has confirmed, however, that he does not condone infidelity.

"I want 2 make it CLEAR that I do not condone infidelity at all, but 2 some degree the responsibility 4 it is shared by both people."

Last week 34-year-old Tiger returned to the golf scene for the first time since his private life unravelled in November, at the Masters tournament in Georgia.
