Popular TV series Glee will dedicate one of its episode to the music of Britney Spears, it has been confirmed. And it looks like the lady herself will be making an appearance.
The episode will be screened on E4 later this year.
In a radio interview with Seacrest on Tuesday, Glee creator Ryan Murphy revealed: "Britney, I think 100 per cent, is going to be on the episode [for a] couple of scenes."
He said: "I really admire what she's done with her life and how she's turned things around. So many of the kids on the show say: 'We grew up with Britney. We want to do Britney.'"
He added that the Glee members are put under anaesthetic at the dentist and imagine themselves singing with the 28-year-old star.
Following in the wake of Sir Paul McCartney, it was the legendary pop star's own idea to be on the show.
The hugely successful comedy - which picked up an award at the Teen Choice Awards on Sunday - is also set to devote an episode to the songs of George Michael.
