Royals expected at Sir David Frost's memorial service

Thursday March 13, 2014

High Profile figures, including Prince Charles, the Duchess of Cornwall, Prince Andrew and the Countess of Wessex are expected to attend at the Thursday memorial service for Sir David Frost.

The service will be held at Westminster Abbey where the broadcaster will be remembered and honoured for all his great work.

Prince Charles and Sir David’s widow Lady Carina Fitzaland-Howard will together lay flowers on a memorial stone, which is situated near Poet’s corner.

The English media personality passed away last year following a heart attack onboard the Queen Elizabeth.

One of the many memorable achievements and doings of his career is the infamous first interview with disgraced former US President Nixon.

Sir David was known for his incisive interview style which was considered non-aggressive, affable and effusive.

The popular TV mogul died at the age of 74, leaving behind wife Lady Carina Fitzaland-Howard and three sons - Miles, Wilfred, and George Frost.
