Paris Hilton facing £22m lawsuit over hair extensions

Friday August 13, 2010

Paris Hilton is facing a £22million lawsuit for allegedly wearing hair extensions from the rival company of the establishment she is contracted to.

LA-based corporation HairTech, with whom Paris has signed a £2.2 million contract, claim that she has been photographed in various newspapers and magazines brandishing hair extensions from a rival company.

As a result, they have accused Paris of fraud and deceit, and of breaching her contract by failing to promote their products.

The 29-year-old, who is heiress to the Hilton Hotel empire, has been ordered to pay £22 million in damages - which is ten times the amount she was paid in her original contract.

She also cost HairTech money by missing a launch party in 2007 after being sent to prison on account of reckless driving.

This is the fourth time that the heiress has been sued in recent years.
