Thursday September 13, 2012

Heavyweight boxer Mike Tyson has opted for a dramatic change in career.

The former boxing champion would like get to grips with the performance industry and star in a musical.

Addressing at the CSLA Investors' forum in Hong Kong, Mike spoke about his troubled upbringing and his previous drug and alcohol addiction.

The 46-year-old has served time in jail for rape and infamously bit off part of Evander Holyfield's ear during a fight in 1997.

But he would like to reflect his new state of mind in a less aggressive lifestyle and believes that he has turned his life around.

He said: "I don't have the desire to be that guy anymore. I want to dance and sing. I want to do some dancing and singing musicals."

No stranger to the stage, the boxer had his first taste of cinematic fame in The Hangover and it's sequel.

He has also performed with his wife, Lakiha Spicer, in Argentinian dance show Bailando.
