Quentin Tarantino wouldn't direct Bond film

Thursday December 13, 2012

Director Quentin Tarantino has said that he would never direct a Bond film.

The Django Unchained filmmaker has previously mentioned how he wanted to turn James Bond film Casino Royale into a period piece with Pierce Brosnan reprising his role as the 007 agent, but the job was given to Martin Campbell, who selected Daniel Craig as the new Bond.

Asked if he would still like to put his stamp on the Bond film franchise in the future, the director told Wegotthiscovered.com: "No. Casino Royale was the one I wanted to direct - they missed their opportunity."

The director has also talked about the idea of a third Kill Bill installment.

"I don't know if there's ever going to be a Kill Bill Vol 3. We'll see, probably not though," he added.
