Sex and the City actor, Chris Noth, has swapped his modern New York living for a journey back in time for his role in the new mini-series, Titanic: Blood and Steel.
Ditching his limousine for the 'unsinkable' ship, the American heart-throb will be on familiar ground as he plays banker John Pierpont Morgan.
And he's gone all out on the facial hair front, looking almost unrecognisible in a giant moustache.
The 12-part drama tells the story of the construction of the Titanic, rather than the infamous tragedy of the royal vessel.
Fellow actors filming alongside Noth in Dublin are Scream actress Neve Campbell and Gossip Girl actor Kevin Zegers.
Noth told the Irish Times, "Most dramas have all been about the sinking. We are about the birth of it, the promise before it. The expectation was so intense, of what it was and what it could be."
Titanic: Blood and Steel will debut on screens in time for the 100th anniversary of the ship disaster in April 2012.
