Girls creator Lena Dunham has made her debut on the front cover of Vogue in the magazine’s February issue.
The popular “New Queen of Comedy” shared the picture of the cover on Twitter on Friday, tweeting: “Dear voguemagazine: Thank you. Love, Lena.”
One of the photos from the shoot features the 27-year-old in a strapless Prada dress posing alongside co-star Adam Driver on a bed.
The snaps have caused some controversy as Lena, known for her positive outlook on body image, appears to have been heavily airbrushed.
The star, who often shows off her curves appearing nude in the TV show, went for a more subtle head shot for the cover.
