Simon Cowell takes on Jedward's Vanilla Ice rap

Thursday December 17, 2009

Always one to leave an impression, Wednesday night was no exception for Mr Nasty Simon Cowell as he gave a Jedward-inspired performance of old-school hit, Ice Ice Baby at the X Factor wrap party.

The bash at Jalouse nightclub in London was organised by Simon to thank all the crew and contestants for working on this year's show.

Having already left the country for a Christmas break Simon "wanted to do something special to give everyone a laugh in his absence," said one partygoer.

"In between rehearsals for the X Factor final he and the crew managed to sneak away to record a fake audition tape."

"At midnight Dermont interrupted the singing and got on stage to tell everyone to look at the plasma screens. They were bent over laughing at the video."

Winner Joe McElderry missed the celebrations because he was back in his home town signing CDs, but runner-up Olly Murs didn't miss a beat.

He reportedly partied the night away with Sianad Gregory, a dancer he met on the show.
