Monday February 20, 2012

Three of Whitney Houston's best-known hits are back in the UK's top 40 following her death.

I Will Always Love You hit number 14 in the official singles chart on Sunday.

Meanwhile I Wanna Dance With Somebody went in at number 20 and One Moment In Time was in the number 40 spot.

As fans remembered the tragic star through her music, close friends and family said their final farewell at the weekend.

Kevin Costner, her co-star in The Bodyguard, led the tributes.

He addressed his friend directly during the four-hour service, saying: "You weren't just pretty, you were as beautiful as a woman could be."

"People didn't just like you, Whitney. They loved you.

"I was your pretend bodyguard once not so long ago, and now you're gone, too soon, leaving us with memories".
