Emilia Wickstead's beautiful designs fit for Kate

She's too discreet to mention it.

But among the customers said to slip into Emilia Wickstead's Belgravia atelier is the Duchess of Cambridge.

For years, the New Zealand-born designer has been creating exquisitely cut dresses from the most exclusive postcode in London.

Now Emilia – who dressed Samantha Cameron for that first all-important Downing St photocall – has presented at London Fashion Week

And her latest offerings are likely to tempt Britain's most high-profile young brunette.

Her ladylike confections with precision pleats and high necklines are just the sort of thing the modern woman needs for a special occasion.

And perhaps the Duchess's style has even inspired the talented designer.

The models' hair – blowdried into soft, cascading curls  – was reminiscent of Kate's signature locks.
