Elisabetta Canalis survives on 'Dancing with the Stars'

Wednesday September 21, 2011

She said her 'nerves got the better of her' on the first night of US Dancing with the Stars, coming second to last in the judges' votes.

However, last night Elisabetta Canalis escaped elimination from the show.

Judges' scores are combined with viewers votes to determine who is ousted each week.

Although George Clooney's ex scored a low mark of fifteen, the public must like her as she was saved.

LA Laker's player Ron Artest, now known as 'Metta', scored low marks from the judges in both of the first two episodes of the new series.

And he was the first contestant to be eliminated on Tuesday.

However, he remained positive, asking the audience to give his professional dance partner, Peta Murgatroyda round of applause.
