Case against Britney's ex-manager concludes

Wednesday April 22, 2009

Closing arguments have been heard in the case to extend a restraining order against Britney's former manager Sam Lufti.

In February 2008 a court ordered the 34-year-old not to contact the pop princess or go within 250 yards of her after allegations from Britney's father Jamie that Sam had been harassing his daughter.
This week a lawyer for the former aide denied the claim, saying his client had merely been responding to Britney's "cries for help".

But the singer's court-appointed lawyer argued renewal of the order was in her best interest. "She has suffered emotional distress," he said
