Kate's new look? Working wardrobe for a working princess

Monday November 22, 2010

Kate Middleton has become a byword for classic, tasteful dressing.

Yet many fashion commentators have said that they'd like to see her taking more risks with her sartorial choices.

Moreover, royal sources confirm that Prince William's fiancée will not defer life as a working princess as previously thought - meaning she will need a new wardrobe rather quicker than expected.

To help her hellomagazine.com takes a look at famous contemporaries who could lead the way for Kate's style evolution.

Since her engagement and marriage, Sweden's Princess Victoria (pictured left) has developed a wardrobe that is adventurous yet appropriate.

Prince Albert of Monaco's fiancée Charlene Wittstock and niece Charlotte Casiraghi also have experience of dressing for the public eye.

As does our own Zara Phillips, the daughter of Princess Anne (centre).

Also impeccably turned out at all times are Hollywood princesses Natalie Portman and Anne Hathaway.

Turning to other young ladies in the spotlight for tips could be key as she is slowly introduced to royal duties.
