Michael Bublé begged to do Xmas radio takeover

Thursday November 22, 2012

Michael Bublé was so desperate to run the Christmas show at Magic FM that he begged the radio station to let him take over after having so much fun being a DJ for the week last year.

His charm must have won the station over, as the Canadian is set to do a series of Christmas specials, including a two-hour stint on Christmas Day.

Michael said: "I can't wait to be back in the Magic 105.4 studio for a second year running, I actually asked for that, no one asked if I wanted to do it, I was the one that put in the request. I was hoping I could do it again, I enjoy it so much."

He added: "I would love to make it annual, you know for me to be part of tradition like that and to be invited into people's homes during the holiday that means so much, it's incredible!"

Michael will present the shows on Saturday 1, 8, 15 and 22 of December from 1-3pm, and an evening show between 5-7pm on Christmas Day.
