Geri Halliwell hints at second Spice Girls comeback

Wednesday September 23, 2009

The Spice Girls reunion eighteen months ago was a dream come true for fans across the globe.

And it seems they may be in for some more girl power after hints from Geri Halliwell.

Appearing on ITV's This Morning chat show, the mum-of-one suggested that she and her four bandmates are planning a return to the music scene.

"Right - now, I'll be honest. We are gathering information about a possibility," she says.

"Fundamentally we are friends first and foremost. We started out that way, (with a) very strong friendship, and whatever happens afterwards is a bonus."

"When you're evolving a plan you don't share it with the world until it's concrete...If plans do cement themselves, I'll be the first to tell you.”

Perhaps it was the topic of conversation last week when Geri met with Mel C, Emma and Mel B for dinner at a swish Knightsbridge restaurant.

And there was a hint from Mel B on her Twitter page afterwards, too.

"Spice girls, stadiums?????????? Had dinner with the amazing melc emma and geri I love them so much," she posted.
