Chris Brown has apologised for his recent behaviour while backstage on Good Morning America.
On Tuesday, the controversial R'n'B singer, 21, made headlines when he stormed out of a TV studio after fielding questions relating to his 2009 assault on then-girlfriend Rihanna.
Discussing his actions – he reportedly broke a studio window – Chris said: "I just wanna apologise to anybody who was startled in the office.
"Anybody who was offended or really disappointed in my actions, because I was disappointed with the way I acted."
He added that anchor Robin Roberts had deviated from the "talking points" to which his camp had previously agreed.
She did this by asking questions about the case, rather than focusing on his new album, he said.
"And when I got back (stage) I just let off steam," he explained.
"I didn’t physically hurt anyone, I didn’t try to hurt anyone.
"I just wanted to release the anger that I had inside me because I felt that I worked so hard for this music and… I felt like people kept just trying to take it away from me.
"So yes, I got very emotional, and I wanna apologise for acting like that."
