After paying tribute to his absent wife Catherine Zeta-Jones at the Emmy Awards at the weekend, Michael Douglas gave a strong indication that things are not over for the couple.
Michael, whose separation from the Welsh beauty was announced in August, said: "We're working things out, talking, and we'll see how she goes."
He made the comments to US publication People before collecting a trophy for his role in Liberace biopic Behind the Candelabra.
Catherine was attending a premiere in China while the actor mentioned her in his acceptance speech, saying: "I want to thank my wife, Catherine, for her support."
He has previously said that there is no "crisis" in the couple's marriage, and described their separation as "temporary".
