Court rejects banning order against Halle Berry's ex

Wednesday January 25, 2012

Halle Berry was in court this week after the nanny hired to look after her daughter Nahla asked for a restraining order against the child's father Gabriel Aubry.

Alliance Kambem had accused the Canadian model of "dangerous and aggressive behaviour".

In a sworn statement to an LA court the nanny accused him of pushing her while she was holding his little girl.

But a judge dismissed the petition, describing her grounds for the request as "insufficient and speculative".

Following the nanny's claims, Halle requested an emergency hearing to ask for an order banning Gabriel from seeing Nahla.

The actress and her former partner have been involved in a custody battle over their daughter following their split in 2010.

The issue is set to be resolved on next Monday as the judge who has been hearing the original case is on leave until then.
